Dating on the Intrawebz

There are few people I know that have not at least TRIED the internet dating think, leading the charmed life I do, I will admit to my share of the internet dating scene. I do however feel like I approached it with extreme caution, I alway brought a friend (or two or three) and met the person at a public place or gathering, to ensure my safety as well, as to provide an exit strategy should the time be determined that we needed to scoot ASAP.

My first adventure into the world of internet dating started with the City Pages they had an ad for some online dating thing thought the City Pages website, and no I am NOT speaking of the nasty personals in the back by the escort and stripper ads। It was a website similar to that of match।com, now being this was my maiden voyage into the unknown when it came time to add my picture to my profile I added a picture cropped to my eyeball, yes that is right for fear of someone I know seeing my face on the website i put up a measly picture of my beautiful brown eye (eew not that one). At the time I did not give much thought to the fact that they were on there also, and therefore should not be so modest about it.

Anyhow, after setting up a profile (giving myself the name PYROJEDIMASTER go figure) I started getting hits. Here we go.
